Description of Services: 20-Bed Short-Term Dementia Care Unit offers specialized interdisciplinary services focusing on the assessment and treatment of complex neurological diseases and associated behavioral symptoms in adults diagnosed with neurocognitive disease, specifically dementia

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults aged 55 and older who is medically stable and diagnosed of dementia with associated behavioural symptoms including those with additional diagnosis of acquired brain injury/traumatic brain injury, Huntington's disease, developmental disability and other mental health illness * must be referred by MD
Application: Applications for admission to this unit can only be made through the Virtual Behavioral Medicine Program
