Description of Services: |
Patients that require emergency or urgent care related to a serious injury, illness or condition should visit the emergency department * especially important if the patient is experiencing symptoms and have an existing chronic condition, including heart disease, kidney disease, or diabetes Patients who need care for the following symptoms should visit the emergency department immediately:
Medical Assessment Units (MAU) -Both Brampton Civic Hospital and Etobicoke General Hospital have opened MAUs for emergency patients who are expected to be treated and discharged with 48 hours Emergency Department Wait Times: www.williamoslerhs.ca/en/areas-of-care/emergency-wait-times.aspx |
