Description of Services: Service for family members and others caring for an older adult. Counselor provides individual support, advocacy and resources, navigating assistance with a variety of social and emotional issues
  • private support sessions provide an atmosphere for sharing and problem solving, led by a counselor
  • one-on-one case management services provided to isolated and vulnerable at-risk seniors, both short and long term
  • a counsellor meets with the client either in their home or designated area. After initial contact, the counselor may provide short-term or long-term supports, depending on the needs of the client
