Organization: Links2Care - Care at Home for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities
Description of Services: Provides assistance to seniors and adults with a disability * this service enables people to remain independently in their own homes * services are based on a bi-weekly, 2-hour visit * to be eligible for home help, clients must have difficulty completing household tasks with no informal supports * difficulty with mobility and risk of falls, and/or uses a walker or wheelchair

Services provided:
  • light cleaning (including shower, tub and toilet)
  • cleaning of the inside of the refrigerator and disposing of expired food
  • washing floors and/or vacuuming carpets in high traffic areas (no stairs)
  • laundry
  • light meal preparation and washing of dishes used for this meal
  • grocery shopping (essentials)
  • garbage and/or recycling removal (15 lbs maximum) and bringing bins to and from curb

Fees: Set fees * geared to income
