Description of Services: Short-term rehabilitation program for people with complex tuberculosis (TB) and other mycobacterial infections * core services provided by a respirologist, attending physician, nurse practitioner, nursing staff, recreation therapist, clinical pharmacist, and clinical care coordinator * patients are discharged when they are no longer infectious or a risk to family and others

Fees: Service covered for patients with a valid Ontario Health Card * refugees/refugee claimants may be eligible for full TB-related coverage through Interim Federal Health * private insurance may cover students and temporary workers if they meet criteria for benefits
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 16 years and older with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of tuberculosis or other mycobacterial infection * inpatient treatment considered for people who have drug resistant or multi-drug resistant strain of TB, a reaction to medication, and associated conditions that make outpatient treatment not possible
