Program: Community Mental Health Support Services - Housing and Support Peel (HASP)

Description of Services: In partnership with SHIP (Supportive Housing in Peel) to deliver housing support services to clients residing in SHIP units * SHIP provides affordable housing in a safe and supportive environment * program staff provides case management, service coordination, and person-centred support planning to SHIP residents

The overall goal of the program is to:
  • assist clients in achieving their individual support plans
  • support clients and their families in their recovery journey
  • advocate with landlords, hospitals, psychiatrists on client's behalf
  • assist in developing the skills to improve quality of life, resolve day to day conflicts, manage setbacks and increase independence and housing stability

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 16 years or older with serious mental health issues * homeless or likely to become homeless * has residential, family or service links in Peel
Application: All referrals are through Supportive Housing in Peel
