Description of Services: Facilitates the employment for new immigrants to Canada by familiarizing them with effective job-search practices and technique

Employment services include:

  • one-on-one counselling
  • resume and cover letter critique
  • interview coaching
  • labour market research, job fairs and networking opportunities
  • access to a resource centre and use of computers, telephone, fax and photocopier

Job Search Workshops: Designed to support newcomers with one-on-one employment counselling sessions and a variety of employment related workshops and job fairs. It is open to all newcomers. We also coordinate job fairs to facilitate the connection between employers and newcomers. These workshops take place bi-monthly and are free of charge
