Description of Services: Provides support, food and education to seniors facing housing issues

Services include:
  • conduct a Complete Assessment
  • advocating with the Landlord/Landlord Tenant- board to develop a repayment plan
  • assistance with Rent Review Application and TCHC lease renewal form
  • assistance with Housing connections application plus advocating to TCHC
  • referrals or advocacy with ODSP, OW, CPP, shelters, Meals on Wheels, home care, referrals to I.D. Clinic, furniture bank, Old Age Security and Canada Revenue Agency
  • help with Budgeting and Finance and arrange for cleaning of unit if required
  • provide supportive Counselling and Referrals
