Description of Services: Provides language and culturally specific assessment, consultation and treatment to Mandarin and Cantonese speaking people with mental illness. Offers short term psychotherapy, psychosocial skill building (individual and group), and psycho-educational (individual and group). People accessing this service must be Mandarin or Cantonese speaking and non-English speaking. The two languages served are Mandarin and Cantonese.

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Chinese Only ; Taiwenese Only ; Hong Konger Only ; East Asian Only ; Asian Only
Application: Referrals must be made by physicians or nurse practitioners. Please fax the completed Centre for Mental Health referral form. Eligibility Criteria: Patients between the ages of 18-64 experiencing mood disorders (anxiety, depression, bipolar), OCD, PTSD, psychotic disorders (psychosis, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder) and who would like to receive service in Cantonese, Mandarin or English.
