Description of Services: Caller Reassurance for Seniors Program works to improve the emotional quality of life of vulnerable citizens over 55 in our community while empowering them to remain engaged int he community and continue to live independent lives. Dedicated volunteer responders provide regularly scheduled and personalized callouts to elderly program participants living in Toronto (including Scarborough, Etobicoke, and North York) providing social connection and emotional support, medication reminders and safety check-ins. Highly-trained volunteer responders provide phone support inclusive of but not limited to:
  • Elder Abuse
  • Isolation & Loneliness
  • Anxiety/Stress
  • Relocation
  • Depression/Continued Sadness
  • Loss & Grief
  • Relationship Issues
  • Exploring Positive and Healthy Coping Skills
