Program: Mental Health and Justice Supportive Housing - Toronto - Harrison Street

Description of Services: Provides rent subsidized housing and supports to people with mental illness who are homeless and are involved with, or are at significant risk of involvement with, the justice system.

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Homelessness / At Risk Only ; Clients with Legal Issues Only ; Forensic Mental Health Only
Application: Referrals are accepted from anyone, including self-referrals. Referrals are through The Access Point. Please call or fill out the application form online. Once the application is received, a service navigator will call the individual to set up an appointment to do an intake assessment. Program is available to men and women who are 16 years of age or older and are: - living with serious mental illness - actively involved with the justice system or at significant risk of becoming involved with the justice system - experiencing homelessness, or are at significant risk of becoming homeless - assessed as being able to be safely supported by the program, given the limitations of resources - applicants must also have some available means of financial support such as the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) or Ontario Works (OW).
