Description of Services: |
Patients with moderate to severe hip and knee osteoarthritis can be assessed through the Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) * a specially trained team reviews patient needs and recommends surgical or non-surgical treatment options * For those not needing surgery at this time, information is provided on available resources, to support the patient in the community * for those requiring surgery there may be a wait time of several months to see a surgeon, prioritization is based on severity of injury Details about the Rapid Access Clinic (RAC):
