Programme: Etobicoke Pre and Post Natal Program - Eating for Two/Feeding with Love

Description des services: A comprehensive pre and post-natal nutrition project that provides nutritious food, social support and informal nutrition/health education to women during pregnancy and in the first year after their baby is born Registration is required. There is a waitlist for some of the program locations

Eating for Two: For pregnant mothers and their supports
FREE snacks, TTC fare, grocery cards, and prenatal vitamins are provided
Participants will:
  • learn about labor, delivery, exercise, and emotional health
  • nutrition sessions and food demos
  • breastfeeding support
  • have questions answered by a Registered Nurse, Dietitian, and Community Liaison Worker


Feeding with Love: For mothers with babies 0-8 months old and their supports
FREE snacks, TTC fare, grocery cards, are provided
Participants will:
  • learn about parenting, child's growth and development, and introduce solid food
  • participate in nutrition sessions and food demos
  • participate in group discussion and learn from other mothers
  • get connected to other services in the community
