Supportive Palliative Care Patients referred for palliative care are those suffering from incurable and/or life-limiting illnesses of a cancerous and/or non-cancerous nature. Palliative Care is appropriate for patients in all disease stages, from those undergoing active medical treatment to those who are nearing the end of life.
